Whose nickname is Liu Ruju?

Liu Ruju is another name for Tang Yin.

Tang Yin (147-1523), a painter and writer in China in the Ming Dynasty, is a six-scholar. Zi Ziwei, Bo Hu, No.6, such as the layman and the owner of the Peach Blossom Temple, claimed to be the first romantic talent in Jiangnan.

He is knowledgeable and versatile, composing poems, writing and painting. He is an outstanding great painter in the history of Chinese painting, and he is good at figures, landscapes and flowers and birds. Tang Yin's calligraphy is covered by the name of the painting, mainly learning from Zhao Mengfu, but also influenced by Li Beihai. His strokes are elegant and graceful, tactfully smooth, with a slightly weak brushwork, soft hooks and no madness.

Family background

The ancestor was Tang Hui, the former general of Lingjiang in Liangliang, which also directly influenced Tang Yin. The title of calligraphy and painting is often inscribed with "Jinchang Tang Yin". Tang Jian, the ancestor of Tang Jian, followed Li Yuan to arise and was awarded the title of "Duke of Ju", so Tang Yin also called himself "Tang Sheng of Lu".

in the Ming dynasty, Tang tai, his ancestor, was the chief driver of the Ministry of War, and died in the Battle of Civil Fort. The descendants of Tang Tai are mostly scattered in Baixia and Qiaoli, Wuxian County, Suzhou. Tang Yin was born in this area, and his father, Tang Guangde, runs a pub.
