The author introduces Sun Chuo (3 14-37 1), a native of Zhongdu, Taiyuan, Eastern Jin Dynasty (now Pingyao County, Shanxi Province). He lived in seclusion in his early years and traveled for more than ten years. He used to be the satrap of Shanghe Yongjia, the official to the court, and led the work. His poems, ci-poetry, scenery writing and beautiful prose had a certain influence on the landscape of the Six Dynasties.
It shows that Wang Xizhi, Xie An, Sun Chuo and other literati and celebrities gathered in the Lanting Pavilion (an activity to eliminate disasters and seek happiness) on the Shangsi Festival (March 3, Yonghe 9) in 353 AD. They wrote poems and used scenery to express their feelings, which became a famous event in the history of literature. The poem they wrote in Lanting is called Lanting poem. Wang Xizhi also wrote Preface to Lanting Collection, and Sun Chuo wrote Postscript to Lanting Collection. This poem was written by the author when he participated in the Lanting Gathering.
Preface to Lanting Collection was produced in the 9th year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (353). On March 3rd, Wang Xizhi invited 4 1 social celebrities such as Xie An and Sun Chuo to get together in Lanting, Shanyin County, Huiji. They introduced wine to write poems and compiled them into collections of poems. Wang Xizhi prefaced the collection of poems on the spot, which is the Preface to Lanting Collection in this paper.
