What is righteousness?

Yan Zhenqing deadpan, without a trace of fear, loudly reprimanded Li Xilie for betraying the court. The purpose of Li Xilie's rebellion was to be emperor himself. Knowing Yan Zhenqing's talent, he lured him with the position of prime minister. Yan Zhenqing scolded: "I am nearly eighty years old, and I am a courtier of the Tang Dynasty. How can I be threatened by your inducements? " . I will stick to my moral integrity until I die. "The thief army became angry from embarrassment, so he imprisoned Yan Zhenqing. In order to force Yan Zhenqing to surrender, Li Xilie ordered someone to dig a hole in the yard, deliberately saying that he would be buried alive. Yan Zhenqing said: "Life and death are predestined, there is nothing to be afraid of. "The thief piled firewood in the yard again and said," If you don't surrender, burn him. " Yan Zhenqing got up and was about to jump into the fire when he was stopped. Finally, Yan Zhenqing was hanged.
