the creative style of Song Yu's representative works

Song Yu's ci and fu creation is deeply influenced by Chu culture at first: myths and legends make Song Yu's ci and fu have infinite imagination, romantic atmosphere and miraculous characteristics; the sentimental characteristics in Chu culture make Song Yu's ci and fu have a sad artistic temperament; the light and extraordinary aesthetic taste makes Song Yu's works reveal the aura of pulling out the vulgar in the gorgeous.

Secondly, on the basis of inheriting Qu Yuan's achievements in the creation of Chu Ci, he borrowed extensively from the art of harmonious seclusion in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period and the riddle-like characteristics of Xunzi's small fu, and absorbed the narrative techniques of various schools of literature and historical biography literature, thus realizing the transformation from Sao Ci to Fu Style.
