Unusual Qiao Yiqi

In 1571, Qiao Yiqi, a native of the Ming Dynasty, was born in the beautiful Songjiang Prefecture (now Shanghai). The guests praised him one after another and said, "This guy is as good as he is, but he may not be a stranger in Yumenguaner." Because before Qiao Yiqi was born, his father, who had been the political envoy to Zuobu in Shanxi Province, dreamed that the famous Song Dynasty minister Han Qi was worshiping him, so he named him "Yiqi". Qi also has the meaning of beautiful jade and rare things.

Qiao Yiqi lived up to expectations. When she was a little older, she could read ten lines at a glance and had a photographic memory. At the age of 16, she became a scholar and was admitted to Taixue. Ordinarily, Qiao Yiqi has such a good background and education, it should not be a problem for him to enter the officialdom in the future, but he does not want to play by the rules - he does not want to open his life through the back door, but wants to use his talents to join the society. As he grows older, the young and energetic Qiao Yiqi prepares to continue to show off his skills in the examination room, but always ends up failing. The smooth sailing boat of life suddenly capsized, which Qiao Yiqi didn't expect.

Although he was hit hard, Qiao Yiqi quickly adjusted his mentality and prepared to take the exam again. At the same time, he also made a summary of his previous experience: Since he has a good background and has an extraordinary brain, he should work harder. If you work hard, maybe there will be a bright future in another village. Qiao Yiqi made herself a bowl of chicken soup for the soul, and then studied harder.

At that time, Qiao Yiqi had grown into a handsome young man. Although he was not successful, he already had many fans because of his good looks and talent. Fans affectionately called him "Qiao". "Young Master"? But now, he worked twice as hard, but failed in several imperial examinations. He couldn't help complaining: "If a man is born without being granted a title of ten thousand households... he can sit on a cold blanket and hold an inkstone, but he is too cramped to get off the horse." He believes that men who want to make contributions do not necessarily have to take the road of scientific examination. Therefore, he took a turn on the road to the imperial examination. He stopped reading eight-part essay and practiced martial arts. He went to Suzhou to learn martial arts from his master.

Since ancient times, I have practiced literature and martial arts. The two go well together, but martial arts training is different from fitness. It is about killing with real swords. Qiao Yiqi became a monk halfway, so he practiced more seriously. In order to practice martial arts well, he began to make friends with heroes from all over the world, compete with them on martial arts, and practice various tactics of war. Hard work paid off, Qiao Yiqi became prosperous in the world, and his fame gradually spread.

Some people questioned Qiao Yiqi's grandstanding, and all he practiced was fancy fists and embroidered legs. Yang Qi was annoyed, so he chose a venue, took the five-stone number, shot left and right, and the arrow hit the target, and then picked up another one. The spears danced like wind, making the viewers burst into applause

In 1592, Japan invaded North Korea, and North Korea asked the Ming Dynasty for help, and the Ming Dynasty sent troops to support it. Originally, this matter had nothing to do with Qiao Yiqi, but he thought that because of his strong martial arts skills, he should help the country solve its problems, so he began to recruit troops and prepare to go to the front line.

Big trees attract the wind, especially trees with extremely standard growth like Qiao Yiqi's. So someone reported him, saying that he had evil intentions and wanted to overthrow the Ming Dynasty. As a result, the ambitious Qiao Yiqi was imprisoned before he could go into battle to kill the enemy. He had to eat moldy cornstarch every day, wear shabby prison uniforms, and endure mosquito bites. He was as embarrassed as he wanted.

If it had been anyone else, they would have been crying and screaming, but Qiao Yiqi didn't care and actually started studying calligraphy in prison. His idol is the calligrapher Wang Xianzhi, and he specializes in studying the essence of Wang Xianzhi's calligraphy. As a result, Qiao Qi, who was in prison, instantly became a calligrapher. While he was in prison, his calligraphy works had been circulated on the market, attracting people from all over the world to buy them. When he got tired of practicing calligraphy, he put down his pen and stood in front of the small window of the cell. While looking out eagerly, he slowly recited a poem. He made the gloomy prison life poetic and picturesque.

Qiao Qi was waiting for someone to overturn the verdict, but the verdict came. Because the official who had previously handled the case ran away, the case could never be vindicated. Qiao Yiqi was sentenced to be sent to Nanhui Office (today's Nanhui District, Shanghai) for military exile. Qiao Yiqi originally volunteered to serve as a soldier, but now he is forced to do so, and there will be stains on his file. Qiao Qi refused to accept it and began to appeal.

The promotion official cherished talents and went through a retrial under pressure. When he found out that this was an unjust, false and wrong case, he tried his best to exonerate Qiao Yiqi, and Qiao Yiqi was finally acquitted.

Normally, being released from prison should be a happy event. Even if you don’t have a few banquets to celebrate, you still have to hang up firecrackers to ward off bad luck.

Qiao Yiqi did not do this. He started to take an unusual path again, went home to pack his luggage, and signed up to join the army directly. His family didn't understand, and his friends thought he had the wrong tendon. They even speculated that he had a mental problem because he had been in jail for a long time, and they were planning to provide him with psychological counseling.

In fact, Qiao Yiqi is very normal. He understands what he wants? Since he chooses to practice martial arts, a good man must aspire to all directions. Only by serving as a soldier can he be useful, otherwise everything will be useless. It's just talk on paper. Another reason is that you falsely accused me of treason, but I want to be a militant who protects my home and country.

Dreams are great and can only be realized with hard work. For this, Qiao Yiqi worked hard. In 1603, Qiao Qi passed the military examination and was sent to Fushun to serve as a garrison.

? Unfortunately, before Qiao Yiqi can show his talents, his life is no longer a multiple-choice question, but a road of no return.

In 1618, Nurhayong raised troops in Fangjing to attack Fushun, Qinghe and other places. Although the Ming Dynasty commander had a large number of troops, he did not know how to mobilize the remaining generals, let alone adopt Qiao Yiqi's platoon. They had a good strategy for deploying their troops, but they missed the opportunity and the Ming army was defeated miserably. Although Qiao Yiqi fought bravely to kill the enemy, the main army was defeated and he was unable to recover. In 1619, Qiao Yiqi was hit by several arrows during the war and led his troops to retreat to Dishui Cliff. His soldiers persuaded Qiao Yiqi to escape immediately. Qiao Yiqi looked up to the sky and sighed: "How can it be that the general didn't need my words to say this? What happened today is just death." Although he was aggrieved, there was nothing he could do about it. Who could let him not have as much power as the other party? Qiao Qi would rather be broken by jade. Instead of being safe, he just jumped off the Dishui Cliff and committed suicide. This was an unforgettable ending to his unconventional life.
