Zhang Huairen (19 14~2008) is a famous calligrapher in East China. His calligraphy works are famous for their simplicity, elegance and quietness, especially appreciated by a great master, Mr. Qi Gong. He became famous in 1997 by signing and pushing Selected Works of Zhang Huairen's Calligraphy, which received hot comments at that time. As early as the autumn of 1978, I was admitted to the graduate school of Mr. Lv Shuxiang for my brother Wang Juquan, and I was about to go to Beijing to study. When I saw him off, I learned about Zhang Lao's calligraphy skills. It turns out that he is an old and virtuous husband.
In the winter of 2004, I made a special trip to Wuxi Archives Bureau to check the final draft of Gezhi's school history and pay homage to the new tomb of Xu Shouxian, the first founder of my alma mater. The business was successful, and the bus went to Donglin College to pay homage to the sages. Only then did I witness the original works of Zhang Lao's large number of calligraphy books. It turned out that the whole garden, almost all the exhibition halls, hung their Mo Bao in a conspicuous position: from huge to small, from sealed to regular, nave also made long couplets, all of which were horizontal. I dare say: this arrangement is quite decent-the sages of Lindong, at least the sages of Wuxi, whose talents, integrity and ethics were unique at that time and could best match them. Really complement each other!
Therefore, my idea of promoting Zhang Huai's old calligraphy art was born calmly in Donglin College.
On the 10 day of this year's Spring Festival, a "Spring Festival Tea Party in the Year of the Rabbit" was held in Juquan Senior Apartment. Influenced by Zhang Lao's relics hanging in the living room, I stopped on the spot and lost myself.
Therefore, the "Zhang Huairen Calligraphy Appreciation Special Edition" was launched today. And the excellent compilation of senior Juquan only makes me feel needless to say, just ask netizens to enjoy themselves!
