1944 was born in Pei county, Jiangsu province. Graduated from Yangzhou University, member of China Calligraphers Association, executive director of China Forestry Calligraphers Association, member of China National Museum Gallery Art Committee, visiting professor, member of China Education Association Calligraphy Education Committee, president of China Calligraphy Art Research Institute, honorary president of Beijing Oriental Hanfeng Calligraphy and Painting Institute, senior consultant of Singapore New Shenzhou Art Museum, and vice chairman of Xuzhou Calligraphers Association.
