Introduction to Basan

Basang, female, Tibetan, 1969, from Deqing County, Duilong City, Lhasa. She/kloc-joined the county literature and art propaganda team at the age of 0/2, and was the youngest actress in the county literature and art propaganda team at that time. In a performance, under the attention of Li Wei and Awangke Village, then principals of Tibet Art School, it was discovered by Li Wei, a vocal music teacher of Xizang Autonomous Region Art School.

From 65438 to 0985, Basang became a student of Tibet Art School. After four years of professional training, Basang graduated with excellent results, and was selected by the Cultural and Art Troupe of the Political Department of Tibet Military Region in the graduation performance to become an army literary and art worker. Now he is party member, a national second-class actor and lieutenant colonel, who has won the second-class merit four times. Because he often performs at border checkpoints, he is called an army lark flying around the snowy checkpoints.

Basang's first solo album "Heaven", and the song with the same name as the album "Heaven" is the title song of the album. This album contains the classic works sung by Basang in recent 20 years, such as The Way, Lake Namtso, Looking Up at the Himalayas, Collectors, May the world be happy, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (Tibetan version), Auspicious Singing and so on.

The work "Finding the Way to Meet", which I sang when I was studying in Lhasa Art School 20 years ago, will also be reproduced in the album. The lyrics in the album are available in Tibetan, Chinese and English. The Tibetan lyrics are written by Tsering Dunzhu, a professor at Tibet University for Nationalities and a Tibetan calligrapher.
