It is also the only national art grading institution and a nationally recognized grading certificate. Thousands of people take the grade examination every year. Reference personnel are composed of kindergarten, primary school, middle school, university students, employees from various industries, armed police, PLA officers and soldiers, amateur art lovers and retirees, covering all walks of life. In addition to Chinese mainland, there are foreign candidates from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Germany, Australia, Britain and other countries and regions to take the exam, because these countries all think that China Academy of Fine Arts is the most authoritative art school in China at present, so they also recognize its grading certificate.

The certificate is recognized by universities all over the country. Music, sports and fine arts are all acceptable, and they must be certificates of national academic institutions. According to local policies, the situation of each university is different. Generally, universities with independent enrollment are preferred.
