Niu Donggang was born in 1952, with a university degree, originally from Luoyang, Henan, and now lives in Beijing. Member of China Calligraphy Research Association and Painters Association. He is currently the vice president of the Central Plains Traditional Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. He likes calligraphy since he was a child. He copied many calligraphy styles of Wei, Bei Tang, Kai, Erwang and other ancient and modern calligraphy masters. For decades, he never stopped writing, and his calligraphy is the best. "National Art Painting and Calligraphy" won the gold medal of national painting and calligraphy exchange. He has participated in many exhibitions of calligraphy and painting at home and abroad, and won the second prize of the fifth Shandong Linyi Calligraphy Competition and the Calligraphy Exhibition organized by the Calligraphy Association of the Ministry of Culture in 2005. On March 20 10, his works were exhibited at the two national conferences of CPPCC and collected by the cultural department.
