Who is Li Zhihang?

Li Zhihang, 1970, from Hebei. Member of China Calligraphers Association, Jingsheng of Shi Ting Temple.

Clear windows, ancient scrolls of lanterns, plain clothes, sitting in front of pen, ink, paper and inkstone ... This is people's cognition of the state of copying classics in ancient times.

If we say that we copy scriptures, we must mention Dunhuang scriptures. When the original distant images of Dunhuang and scripture copying were superimposed with Quanzhou's images of "flying" and "ancient temples", a wonderful reaction was produced. Before I met Li Zhihang, the reclusive master of Shi Ting Temple in Quanzhou had become a concrete image in our minds. Li Zhihang said that people's energy is limited. Born in 1970, he suddenly felt that more than half of his life had passed. "If you can live to be 80 years old, then seize the remaining 30 years." Li Zhihang firmly said that since he wants to be a "Confucian Classics student", he should improve his humanistic quality together with copying Confucian Classics.

Previously, from 20 13 to 20 16, he obtained a master's degree in calligraphy from Beijing Normal University. Recently, he is learning Japanese from scratch to pave the way for further study.
