Ancient towns and villages in Shen Du

The ancient town of Shen Du is surrounded by mountains and rivers. There used to be four streets, namely Shang Ling, Lijie, Waijie and Hengjie. Many shops and streets crisscross. After the dam of Xin 'anjiang Hydropower Station was completed and impounded, most of the old streets were located below the flooded area, and the original Li Street, Wai Street and Heng Street were all demolished, but a section of the old streets on the street remained. In the history of Shen Du, there are nine Shen Du scenic spots such as Liling Hengyun, Shen Du Gudu, Fengyi Hongye, North Shore Fishing Fire and Jiuli Guifan.

Jiusha Village, which belongs to Shen Du Town, is an ancient fishing village near Xin 'anjiang. There are hundreds of well-preserved Huizhou ancient dwellings here, which are an important part of Xin 'anjiang landscape corridor.

Fengchi Village is located directly opposite Shen Du Town, also known as Daduihe. Historically, Zhu Yuanzhang once talked with Mr. Fengchi, who lived in seclusion here, across the river and asked Mr. Fengchi to come out of the mountain to help Zhu Yuanzhang rectify the great cause.

Lee Ha Pit belonged to Changxi Township in ancient times. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, he fled the war and moved to Zhugangling (Zhu Yuanzhang led troops to rest Lin 'an via Guangkengling to Changxi). Lee Ha Pit lived in seclusion in the mountains for about 400 years, then belonged to Waihe Township and Dingtan Township, and now belongs to Shen Du Town. The village is full of literati, businessmen and celebrities. Imperial academy Wu Tianjin and Wu Hongyuan; Deng Shi Zuo Lang Wu Xiangsong; Wu Hongliang, the sixth product of the Ministry of War; Wu Hongbin, nine products of the household department; Huizhou businessman Wu; Wu Jinxian, poet and calligrapher; Barrister Wu et al.

The scenery here is beautiful, the folk customs are simple, and the villagers are hospitable. It runs through the "China Highway" and is connected with the "Dawukou" at the junction of Dingtan and Banwuwu in the southwest. It takes about 15 minutes by car and about 1 hour by foot. About 40 minutes' drive from Shexian County, ancient Huizhou; It is about 30 minutes' drive from Shen Du, a famous town in Shexian County. Northwest to "cross Jiangling" and walk to Dakeng Village, Bei 'an Town; From the northeast to "Guangkengling" leads to Shanhou Village in Xiakeng Town; Southeast to "Bamboo Green", walk to Changxi Ancient Village, Cangshanyuan, Shitan and other places.
