Ma Rui's Jiangxi Calligrapher

Ma Rui, born in May, 1957, from Lianyuan, Hunan, party member, with a college degree, joined the work in March, 1974. Executive director of China Calligraphers Association, director of China-Japan Friendship Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, creator of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Painting and Calligraphy Art Exchange Center, member of China Academy of Fine Arts, member of China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association and member of Jiangxi Calligraphers Association. Learning books begins with copying Zhang Qianbei, Li Monument and Yiying Monument, and also copying Ode to Shimen, which is adjacent to Jin and Tang Monuments. The style of calligraphy pursues the simplicity of ancient Chinese steles and the elegance of Weibei. His works have won many awards in international and national calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and he has been invited to Beijing for many times to attend the opening ceremony, such as the National Calligraphy Art Exhibition on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Party. His works have been selected into national and international painting and calligraphy exhibitions for many times and won awards, among which he won the gold and silver awards in the third and fifth international painting and calligraphy exhibitions (Tokyo, Japan), the Golden Dragon Award in the "Raptor Cup" in Singapore, and the gold medal for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. His works were collected and exhibited by China Art Museum, Jilin Provincial Library and Guangdong Red Palace.
