In the study of calligraphy, there are generally two writing postures, namely, sitting posture and standing posture. So, how are these two writing postures determined? Write according to the size of the word. When writing small words within one inch, you should sit down, and when writing large words over one inch, you should stand.
Requirements for two writing postures:
1. Sitting posture: General requirements are: head down, body straight, arms open, feet flat. That is, don't sit hunched, don't tilt your head, bow your head slightly, don't lean on the edge of the table, keep your shoulders flush, open your arms naturally, press the paper gently with your left hand, and put your feet flat on the ground.
2. Standing posture: Standing writing requirements: head down, body bow, arms hanging down, feet standing firm. That is, look down at the front, lean forward slightly, and don't lean against the edge of the table. Press the paper lightly with your left hand, and your right arm is suspended. Your feet will naturally be shoulder width apart, with your left foot slightly in front and your right foot slightly behind.
