Long canal, flowing quietly ; Diggang is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and lives by the water. Surrounded by water, the river is full of Digang reeds. It was named Digang because of the Digang reeds. It was also named Digang, Digang and Dixi in history. Human life and reproduction began as early as the Neolithic Age. During the Sixteenth Kingdom of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, due to the war in the north, many dignitaries came here to live in seclusion one after another; in the Tang Dynasty, it began to take shape, and it belonged to Wucheng County (now Huzhou City); in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, it belonged to Gui'an County (now Huzhou City); in the Ming and Qing Dynasties , Diggang is a town, with jurisdiction over Dongshuang Village, Sidong Village, Lishi Village, Meijia Village, Zhujia Village, Gaotian Village, Sanguan Village, Chaodian Village, Shijia Village, Beigao Village, and Jishan Village. There are about three kilometers from Yanhu to Thousands and hundreds of households. After the Revolution of 1911, Digang was renamed Dixi Town and belonged to Wuxing County. After the founding of New China, the People's Government of Digang Town was established in October 1949.
In 1958, the three townships of Changchao, Digang and Changlu merged to form the Changchao Commune. Digang was the Yuling Senior Commune, which belonged to Wuxing County (today's Huzhou City).
In 1984, the commune was reorganized into Digang Township, with jurisdiction over Tangdong Village, Shijia Village, Sanguan Village, Jishan Village, Chaodian Village, and Digang Residents Association.
In 1990, Digang Township was merged into Hefu Town. Digang is a five-small village and is a suburb of Huzhou City.
In August 2001, Hefu, Changchao and Chongzhao towns were merged into Hefu Town. Digang was also merged from five small villages into Digang Village, which belongs to Hefu Town in Linghu District.
In 2003, Diggang was classified as Nanxun District, which is still used today.
