I heard that Jiangxi Red Memory Liao Chengzhi was in Majiazhou concentration camp.

Various periods after the fall of Soviet area

Liao Chengzhi is in Majiazhou concentration camp.

Speaking of "Zhazidong" and "Shangrao concentration camp" in Chongqing, people all know that they are prisons where producers and patriots are held and persecuted. However, in the era of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, there was a more harmful secret prison-Majiazhou concentration camp in Taihe County, Jiangxi Province.

The official name of Majiazhou concentration camp is Jiangxi Youth Training Center, which was converted from the ancestral temple and four private houses of Wang Xing in Songshan Wang Village near Majiazhou, Taihe County, the capital of Jiangxi Province.

The concentration camp belongs to the "Jiangxi Special Work Office" under the auspices of Feng Qi, the special correspondent of the Central Bureau of Statistics in Jiangxi. It is a special prison for holding and persecuting anti-Japanese fighters and party member. From May 1940 to June 1945 and 1 year, it took more than four years, and nearly 350 * * * producers and patriots were imprisoned and persecuted here successively.

Liao Chengzhi, the son of Liao and He Xiangning, was a veteran of the Kuomintang./kloc-0 joined the Chinese production party in August, 1928, and/kloc-0 served as secretary-general of the General Political Department of the Fourth Army in June, 1934. 1946- 1948 served as a member of China southern bureau, and 1938+0 served as the head of the eighth route army hongkong office; 1942 was arrested on May 30th and secretly detained in Majiazhou concentration camp. In Majiazhou concentration camp, Liao Chengzhi and Zhang Wenbin led prisoners to fight against the enemy and set up the red flag of prison struggle.

The years of struggle in Majiazhou concentration camp are a highlight of Liao Chengzhi's revolutionary life.

Majiazhou concentration camp is under closed management, and "prisoners" are not allowed to communicate with each other. Liao Chengzhi skillfully contacted his comrades in prison by singing revolutionary songs such as The Internationale and March of the Volunteers.

After establishing contact with Zhang Wenbin and Tu Zhennong, Liao Chengzhi painted Three Friends at the Age of Cold as a gift to unite and encourage his comrades to fight with artistic means.

1in August, 944, Liao Chengzhi heard that Zhang Wenbin was seriously ill and asked for a visit many times, but spies were not allowed. Liao Chengzhi was outraged and went on a hunger strike. The director was afraid of death and finally gave in.

At that time, a guard named Yao Baoshan was forced to be a guard in Majiazhou concentration camp because of his livelihood. He has a sense of justice and sympathizes with prisoners. Liao Chengzhi told Yao Baoshan that his parents followed Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary story, and Yao Baoshan's consciousness increased day by day. He also sent a note to Liao Chengzhi asking him to help borrow books. Under the planning of the underground party organization in prison, Yao Baoshan escaped from the concentration camp and delivered Liao Chengzhi's letters to the outside world. Zhou Enlai immediately called Chiang Kai-shek's office after seeing it, lodged a solemn protest and demanded the release of these people. After reading the letter, Mr. He Xiangning drafted a telegram overnight, sent a telegram for help to Chiang Kai-shek, Soong Ching Ling, Yu Youren and Sun Ke, and entrusted Wan 'an painter Liang Shu to visit the prison. Liang Shu put Mr. He Xiangning's letter into a small bamboo tube, stuffed it into a moldy tofu jar, and bribed the guards to hand it over to Liao Chengzhi. Finally, with the rescue of Zhou Enlai, Soong Ching Ling and He Xiangning, Liao Chengzhi was first detained in Chongqing, and then released on June 22nd 1946+65438, and regained his freedom.
