Master Shi Dejing was born in a scholarly family. Influenced by his family environment, he is gifted. When I was a student, I won the first prize in the student calligraphy competition in Zhoukou area. He is called a "prodigy" and is very famous in his hometown.
Master Dejing has an indissoluble bond with Buddhism since he was a child. He converted to Buddhism, converted to Buddhism, and became a monk in Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Henan. Shaolin Temple has been said since ancient times that "Shaolin is the best martial art in the world", and it is famous all over the world because of the legend that "eighteen sticks and monks saved the Tang king". The master of moral classics is no exception. He practiced in Shaolin Temple in his twenties, fasting and chanting Buddha every day and practicing martial arts hard. But besides practicing martial arts, he has special feelings and hobbies for calligraphy. When the master practices martial arts during the day, he has no extra time to practice calligraphy, and he begins to teach himself at night, often from the rest of others until dawn. Shaolin Temple mainly practices Buddhism and martial arts, with few ink and paper inkstones. At that time, calligraphy and rice paper were very scarce commodities. There is no rice paper, mainly expensive newspapers. Newspapers are often written at once, and the ink is dry before writing. The ink used in each writing is heavier than the last one, so the next newspaper can't be used until the handwriting on it is completely covered with ink. Day after day, year after year, the master's martial arts and calligraphy have been improved in an all-round way, which can be said to have reached the real realm of both civil and military.
There is no shortcut to learning calligraphy. Only hard work, hard work and down-to-earth dedication will bring real returns. With the spirit of not being afraid of hardship, fatigue, daring to study and perseverance, the master of moral classics keeps innovating and becomes a school of his own. Practicing calligraphy and Shaolin Wushu has become a rare talent at home and abroad.
In a sense, art and religion have been integrated in Master De Jing. At the same time, in the process of practicing Buddhism, the body and mind are constantly purified, and the perspective of observing the world and caring for the feelings of others make the master's works transcend the noise of the world and secular disputes. Perhaps this is the result of Buddhism and Taoism's accession to the WTO and their undivided attention to practice.
Practitioners also talk about the triple realm of meditation, that is, at the beginning of meditation, seeing mountains is mountains and water is water; In meditation, seeing mountains is not mountains and water is not water; When you realize in Zen, mountains are still mountains and water is still water. Master Guan Dejing's calligraphy works, when he was creating in Mo Bao, were still in the golden age of Buddhism. They were carefree, thought-provoking and meaningful. The Zen calligraphy font in the book seemed to be like a martial artist, majestic and powerful, three-dimensional and straight, without losing artistic sense, which made people feel pure, comfortable and wonderful.
In recent years, Master De Jing's Zen calligraphy has become a family, and his calligraphy skills have improved and achieved fruitful results. Personal calligraphy exhibitions were held in Henan, Beijing, Shanghai and other places, with a large audience and highly appreciated by many famous calligraphers.
Mr. Dan Guoqiang, a researcher at the Palace Museum and an expert in calligraphy and painting appraisal, read the Diamond Sutra by Master De Jing in small letters and wrote an inscription praising: "There are many scriptures written by eminent monks in past dynasties. They believe in Buddhism, read Buddhist scriptures and recite calligraphy. Therefore, the scriptures they wrote are often natural and smooth in one go, which contains the pure inaction that I forgot about Zen. It is valuable to interpret the theory of this volume of the Moral Classics and get the true meaning of the ancient monks' writings. " Culture and Art Publishing House also published the Collection of De Jing Chan's Calligraphy Works for Master De Jing.
Master Shi Dejing is not only a first-class calligrapher, but also a "philanthropist" who is enthusiastic about public welfare. He always says "do your best" to do charity. The road to success is long and difficult, but Master Dejing has always maintained a Do not forget your initiative mind, always maintaining a loving and grateful heart to repay the society, warm others, and not asking for anything in return.
