2. Yan Zhenqing (August 23, 709 -784) was born in Jingzhao Wannian (now Shaanxi An), and his ancestral home was Lang Linyi (now Shandong Linyi). Yan Shigu V was a famous official and an outstanding calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, following his grandson and Yan Gaoqing.
3. In the 22nd year of Kaiyuan (734), Yan Zhenqing became a scholar, served as the censor for four times, and moved to the temple to assist the censor. Rejected by Yang, the powerful minister, he was demoted to the plain satrap, and the world called Yan Plain. During the Anshi Rebellion, Yan Zhenqing led a crusade against the rebels. Later, because he was isolated, he had to give up the plain and go to Fengxiang, where he was named Minister of Constitutional Affairs, and later he was transferred to the imperial doctor. When Tang Daizong was an official, he went to the official department of Shangshu Province, became a prince, and named him Duke Lu, which was called Duke Shi. In the first year of Xingyuan (784), he was framed by Prime Minister Qilu. He was sent to tell the rebel Li Xilie and turned down the thief in awe. He was finally killed by a slap in the face. After Yan Zhenqing was killed, Cao's heirs and soldiers of the three armed forces cried bitterly. Posthumously awarded Stuart and posthumous title Wenzhong.
4. Yan Zhenqing has exquisite calligraphy and is good at writing regular script. He, Zhao Meng, Liu Gongquan and Ou Yangxun are also known as the four masters of regular script. Said with Liu Gongquan, Gu called Yan Wei. He is also good at poetry, such as You, Ji, Wu, Ji, Lu Ji and Linchuan Ji, all of which have been lost. The Song people compiled Yan Ji.
