First, the writing method of wave and arc in horizontal painting.
The wave painting of Lishu is a remarkable feature of his strokes, starting like a silkworm's head and closing like a goose's tail. Especially horizontal painting, also known as "silkworm head and goose tail", is also called "wave horizontal" in calligraphy tutorial.
In the writing of wave cross, the Tibetan front reverses the pen and forms a round starting point, which looks like a silkworm head. Then, the center is drawn to the end in a small arc, and the pen tip is slightly pressed down and then the pen is lifted, which looks like a goose tail.
In the writing method of horizontal arc, the stroke is also a hidden front, and there is no need to press the stroke again. The strength of starting a pen is equal to that of writing, and the writing process is slightly arc-shaped, and the pen is hidden, round and not pointed.
Second, the vertical writing in the painting.
The vertical stroke of official script is different from that of regular script, and the stroke strength is also different. In the vertical writing of official script, the strokes are upside down, the strokes are downward along a semi-circular arc to the left, and the strokes are from light to heavy. At the end, push the stroke back slightly and close the pen so that the end of the stroke is square or round. As shown below.
The oblique stroke is similar to the vertical stroke, but the stroke strength is more uniform, and the stroke tail is lifted up and hidden.
Third, the writing of vertical hook painting is mainly arc.
If you don't copy the official script tablet seriously, many people are often at a loss when writing official script vertical hook paintings. Do you want to write the taste of hook or not? If you are not sure about this, you can't start. In fact, the vertical hook painting in Lishu is mainly arc, so it is not difficult to write a good vertical hook painting if we grasp this point.
The writing method is as follows: starting a pen is similar to vertical painting, the hidden front moves backward, then the pen front moves down, first straight and then bent into a semi-arc shape to move the pen to the lower left center, and at the end, it turns to the left circle to collect the hidden front, making the pen tail round and shaped like a "silkworm head". There is also a kind of pen collection in the vertical hook, that is, the pen collection is light and curved, shaped like a machete.
Fourth, the hook (oblique hook) is written in a semi-arc shape.
The hook in official script, also called oblique hook, has a different writing shape from regular script. The hook of official script is mainly semi-arc. The writing method is that the pen is similar to an oblique stroke, the Tibetan is written upside down, and the circular "silkworm head" is written upwards. Then draw forward with the center, draw a 45-degree arc to the lower right, and then gently press the pen tip at the end to raise the pen upward to form a machete.
Five, the writing method of vertical hook, with large folding angle and wide hook angle.
Vertical hook is an easy stroke to grasp in official script, but the main points are not sure. The strokes written are long or short, narrow or curved, and the proportion is unbalanced. Therefore, when writing official script, we must remember that the vertical hook is short and big, slightly curved, and the hook unfolds like a knife.
The main point of writing is that the Tibetan front is backward and the back front is downward to write a vertical map. At the corner, adjust the front end to the right, with the pen down, and then press it gradually until the end is lifted to the right, drawing the front end.
