1. Look at the decorative pattern. There are many porcelains, often with a circle of decorative patterns on the upper, lower, left and right edges.
Decal patterns generally have three situations: graphic overlapping, misalignment, and joint gaps. Such as jars, bowls, cups, bottles, etc.
2. If you look closely, you will sometimes find a lack of color, like insect bites. This is due to the fact that part of the ceramic pigment on the decal paper was removed during the transfer process or during the production process. However, it does not always appear, so you need to look carefully.
3. Look closely at symmetrical or identical patterns. Every part, decal porcelain is basically the same. And hand-painted ones will definitely not be consistent. This is important.
4. Porcelain with spherical geometric shapes (such as large celestial sphere bottles) and complete figures, flowers, birds, and landscapes painted in large-area continuous graphics will not be decaled, otherwise folding will occur.
5. Porcelain made with blue and white water separation technology can be judged not to be decals.
6. Judge by color. Regardless of the overglaze or underglaze decals, from a technical point of view, the adhesion thickness of ceramic pigments is limited
and the depth of the color is difficult to resolve. For a certain color, such as yellow, all this color will be basically the same on the entire screen. This is the most important way to differentiate.
7. For porcelain with spherical geometric shapes, its decals are often composed of multiple pieces of decals, such as landscape paintings. For the overall effect, some supplementary patterns are also manually drawn. In this way, the same color (such as blue and white), hand-painted and decals will have different tones. For example, the decorative lines of bottles and yuan circles are painted by hand, and the color is often different from the color and tone of the same type of decal.
8. Porcelain where decals and hand-painting appear at the same time is manifested in the fact that the upper and lower decorative patterns are decorated with decals and the main parts are painted by hand. However, in this kind of hand-painting, the picture is rubbed on the blank or porcelain with carbon paper and then colored manually. Fish tanks are used more often. Whenever decals are used on porcelain, no matter how many, the porcelain cannot be too expensive.
