Jinzhong University Jinzhong University is located in Yuci District, Jinzhong City, the hinterland of Shanxi Province and the hometown of Shanxi merchants. Jinzhong University, formerly known as Jinzhong Teachers College, was founded in 1958. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, a full-time multi-disciplinary undergraduate college in Shanxi Province was established on the basis of the merger of the former Jinzhong Teachers College, Jinzhong Education College and Jinzhong Workers College.
