Qu Yuan (wind and lightning) wind! You roar! Roar! Roar as hard as you can! In this dark time, everything fell asleep, sank in dreams, and died. It's time for you to roar, and it's time for you to try your best to roar!
No matter how you growl, you can't wake them up from their dreams, you can't bring the dead back to life, you can't blow away the darkness that is heavier than iron, but you can at least blow away some dust, sand and stones, and at least blow away some flowers and trees. You can make the Dongting Lake, the Yangtze River and the East China Sea turn the waves for you and roar with you!
Ah, I miss Dongting Lake, I miss the Yangtze River, I miss the East China Sea, and the boundless waves! That mighty and boundless great power! That is freedom, dancing, music and poetry!
ah, this great poem in the universe! You wind, you thunder, you electricity, everything you growl and shine in this darkness, you are all poems, music and dancing. Great artists in your universe, try your best to exert your strength. Let out endless anger and explode this dark universe, a gloomy universe! It exploded!
ray! Is that the sound of your wheels rolling? You dragged me to the edge of Dongting Lake, to the edge of the Yangtze River and to the edge of the East China Sea! I want to see the rolling waves, I want to listen to the roar, and I want to drift to the uninhabited island without conspiracy, filth and selfishness! I want to jump into the boundless freedom with you, with your voice and with the boundless sea!
ah, electricity! You are the sharpest sword in the universe! My sword was pulled out, but you, you can pull out my tangible sword, you can't pull out my invisible sword. Electricity, your sword in the universe, is also the sword in my heart. You split, split, split! Split, split, split this darkness, which is stronger than iron! Although you split it like water, you pulled it out and it closed again, but at least you can make the light appear for a moment, oh, what a brilliant and dazzling light!
Guangming, I admire you, I admire you, I bow my hands to you, and I kowtow to you. I know that you are a fire, you, the greatest person in the universe, fire! You are in the horizon, you are in front of me, you are all around me, I know you are the life of the universe, you are my life, you are me! My burning life, my anger that is about to burst my whole body, can't I burst into light?
burst, my body! Burst, universe! Let the naked fire roll, like this wind, like the sea, and burn everything tangible and filthy! Burn it! Burn the darkness that contains all the evils!
let's burn your emperor taiyi! Burn you in the clouds! You wooden stalks, what virtue do you have in sitting on the throne? You are just a father and a mother who produce darkness!
you, your dongjun, what kind of dongjun are you? People say you are the sun god, and you, you can't ride at all sitting there. You, you have a red face, are you also shy? Ah, you, you are completely fake! You, you wooden stick, you heartless, soulless, I will burn you, burn you, burn everything, especially your horse! If you are capable, come down for a walk! What a Priestess of Death, what a young man, your great ability is only to know how to fool people! What a Xiang jun, what a Xiang lady, your great skills only know how to cry! Cry, what's the use of crying? Tears, what's the use of tears? At most, let you cry out a few cages of xiangfeizhu! But isn't that xiangfeizhu a torture device used by the masters to beat slaves? Get off the boat, get off the cloud, and I'll burn you all! Burn! Burn!
Hum, you Hebo ... Oh, you Hebo! You, you are my first comforter! I can see it clearly! When I was taken on a high slope by people and the guards wanted to rest their feet, I stood on the high slope and looked back at the Longmen. I saw it very clearly, very clearly! I saw Chan Juan being abused, and I saw you stand up and argue with your fingers in the air. As a result, you were taken into the Longmen, and Chan Juan was taken into the Longmen.
but I, I have no tears. The universe, the universe has no tears! What's the use of tears We only have thunder, only lightning, only storms, and we have no slow rain! This is my will, the will of the universe. Encourage, wind! Roar, ray! Shine, electricity! Destroy, destroy, destroy everything that sleeps in the dark arms!
[ Appreciation ]
The five-act historical drama Qu Yuan is the representative work of Guo Moruo's historical drama. The whole play intercepts the cross section of Qu Yuan's life. In one day, it condensed Qu Yuan's course of persisting in uniting with Qi to resist Qin, opposing the surrender of Qi to Qin, and waging fierce struggle with conservative forces in the court of Chu, and summarized Qu Yuan's spiritual character. Ode to Thunder and Electricity is a manifesto of Qu Yuan's inquiring about heaven and earth to express his ideal when his self-respecting soul suffered the deepest humiliation and his life was at stake. "Monologue" endows natural thunder and lightning with divine power in poetic language, and makes thunder and lightning become the eternal sword in his hand, to split the darkness and burn everything in it. Ode to Thunder and Lightning vividly expresses Qu Yuan's ideals and demands of loving the motherland, upholding justice, longing for light and opposing darkness. Ode to Thunder is a righteous song, which takes history as the theme, drama as the form, and poetry as the soul, and "revives the anger of the times in Qu Yuan's era", which shows the people's anti-Japanese demand and the national spirit of being united as one.
