A Brief Introduction to Wang Guozhen's Classical Poets

Wang Guozhen is from Xiamen, Fujian, and Beijinger. Graduated from Chinese Department of Jinan University. According to the survey of "Contemporary China Poets Appreciated by People" conducted by Beijing Zero Survey Company on July, 2007 1997, he ranks first among poets born after the founding of New China. The circulation of his poems is the highest since the new poems. In 2000, his five essays were selected into the first volume of Full-time Chinese Reading in Ordinary Senior High Schools published by People's Education Publishing House. 200 1 His poem Journey was selected into the first volume of the seventh grade of the compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook Chinese published by People's Education Publishing House. In 200 1 year, his essay "Random Thoughts on Rain" was selected as the first volume of the national planning textbook "Chinese in Secondary Vocational Schools" published by Higher Education Press. In 2003, his poem "Love Life" was selected into the second volume of the ninth grade of the compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook "Chinese" published by China Publishing House. He also won the National Book "Golden Key" Award for three consecutive times. In 2007, he was hired as a visiting professor and doctoral supervisor by Naishen University and Peking University.

Wang Guozhen has also made gratifying achievements in the field of calligraphy and painting creation. His calligraphy works have been engraved in Zhangjiajie, Huangshan, Wutai Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Yuntai Mountain. He was also invited to create paintings and calligraphy works for Korean Air, the new Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and many foreign-related tourist hotels represented by Shangri-La Hotel Group.
