The original "Dongshan Xiaoluchu" tablet. Cai Yong, a famous writer and calligrapher in the Eastern Han Dynasty, lived here in seclusion. Li Bai and Du Fu, two flag-bearers in the Tang Dynasty, visited relatives and friends in Mengshan in Tianbao four years, enjoyed the famous mountains and scenic spots, and forged a profound friendship. Li Bai wrote a poem for this purpose: "After a few days of drunkenness, I boarded the pool platform."
Du Fu wrote a poem for this, saying, "Get drunk in autumn and walk hand in hand with the sun." Two stars in the poetry circle are singing in Mengshan, which has become a story that has been circulated for thousands of years. Two emperors, Michelle Ye, the sacred ancestor of the Qing Dynasty, and Emperor Li Honggaozong of the Qing Dynasty, also lived nearby during their southern tour, overlooking Mengshan and reciting poems. Poets Wu, Li E and great dramatists in Qing Dynasty all wrote magnificent poems praising Mengshan.
