The Life of the Characters in Zhao Chengmin's Works

Mr. Zhao was originally from Changchun, Jilin, and moved to Beijing at the age of four. At the age of six, he studied at Shi Jia Hutong Primary School. At the age of thirteen, he was admitted to Beijing No.5 Middle School and began to study basic art formally. After graduating from junior high school, he was admitted to Beijing Arts and Crafts School at the age of sixteen, and systematically studied the history of arts and crafts in China, the history of arts and crafts in China, arts and crafts theory, western sculpture and China folk clay sculpture, sketch, sketch, Chinese painting, calligraphy, color, black and white and pattern composition, and China traditional line drawing and calligraphy. I studied hard for six years until the Cultural Revolution came. High flyers, who studied hard because of his enthusiasm for basic art courses, has become an example for the whole school when he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts. These artistic skills have laid a solid foundation for becoming an expert in art in the future. 1978 was admitted to the sculpture department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with the first place. Tutors are, paid, and professors. In the Central Academy of Fine Arts, I deepened my study of sculpture, sketch, human body and portrait. Because of my expanding vision, my epiphany on the same property of art, and my perseverance, confidence and hard work, after more than ten years of hard training, I have become an expert in China ink painting, China calligraphy, murals, cartoons, illustration art and oil painting. He visited the famous rock paintings and sculptures in China. Before graduation, he sketched thirteen portraits, such as Zhang Zhixin and Heroes and Sisters of Vietnam's Self-Defense Strike Back, which were collected by China Art Museum. Graduation sculpture "The Old Farmer" was collected by China Art Museum. Three sculptures, Hope, Auntie and Return My Mountains and Rivers, were collected by the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Since 1980s, he has been engaged in the professional creation and research of sculpture, mural painting, Chinese painting and calligraphy in Beijing Painting Academy. Sculpture, at the request of China Artists Association, created a large sculpture "Love in the Central Plains" (2.9-meter stone carving) for Zhongyuan Oilfield. He created a large acrylic mural "Longmen Grottoes" for Henan International Hotel, and was selected in China Mural Yearbook. Cooperate with American Professor Jim to create the first abstract stainless steel sculpture "Unity, Friendship and Progress" for Hilton Beijing Hotel. Cooperate with Chen Shuguang to create "Bronze Statue of Qi Baishi" for Beijing Painting Academy. In addition, I have been studying China ceramics for many years, and I have been to the Porcelain State Kiln in Handan, Hebei Province and the Cage Kiln in Chaozhou, Guangzhou to study and create dozens of pottery sculptures, which have been exhibited, published and collected at home and abroad for many times. In addition, China ink painting solo exhibition, calligraphy exhibition and sculpture comprehensive art exhibition were held in Hongkong, Wuhan, Beijing and Japan. He has published more than 500,000 theoretical articles and academic papers on ink painting, sculpture and calligraphy in special issues. Such as Rong Baozhai, National Core Publications, Fine Arts, Sichuan Fine Arts and Contemporary Artists. Articles such as "Random Thoughts on Sculpture Art", "Chen Laolian, a Wonder" and so on.

Since the 1990s, we have made great efforts to break through the conventional atmosphere of ink painting, let all kinds of arts blend naturally, integrate Chinese and foreign arts, find a new way, create and continue to pursue a series of theoretical systems of art machines belonging to the East, and have our own artistic temperament, knowledge and vocabulary. For example, sculpture and oil painting are integrated into China ink painting, and the infinite charm of calligraphy, as well as the spirit of the East and the abstract attributes of the East. On the other hand, China's ink paintings (including calligraphy) try to borrow the volume, sense of volume and attention of eastern and western sculptures. The splendor and richness of western oil painting, as well as the scientific framework and various logics of modern schools, are all formed in painting and even calligraphy. So as to broaden the tentacles of art, because its road is still rare in the art world, the exploration is extremely difficult and long, and it requires extremely heavy knowledge accumulation and great artistic courage, so there are different opinions. Benevolent people say that only with one heart and one mind can we make a breakthrough in art, while wise people say that this long-march artist is an explorer in China's art world. More than 20 years later, he personally created and designed his own comprehensive art studio and sculpture garden, covering an area of 39.5 mu and a building area of 3,700 square meters. Since then, Zhao Chengmin has started a new journey of artistic creation.
