Tang Yin (1470 March 6th-1524 65438+ October 7th) was born in Wuxian (now Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province) and Jinchang County, Liangzhou, a famous painter, calligrapher and poet in Ming Dynasty.
In the twenty-first year of Chenghua (1485), he won the first place in the senior high school entrance examination of Suzhou Prefecture and entered the government school. In the eleventh year of Hongzhi, he won the first place in Tianfu after having obtained the provincial examination (Xie Yuan) and went to Beijing to take the examination. In the twelfth year of Hongzhi, he was involved in the fraud case of Xu Jing's examination hall, was sentenced to prison and demoted to a petty official in Zhejiang and Francisco.
From then on, he lost his enterprising spirit, wandered around the rivers and lakes, was buried in poetry and painting, and eventually became a generation of famous painters.
