Linyi has a long history and outstanding people. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Linyi belonged to Qi, and in the Spring and Autumn Period, it was named Li. Luo Yin County was established in the Qin Dynasty and Linyi County was changed in the Southern Dynasties. Mi Fei in the Three Kingdoms period and Xing Dong, a famous painter and poet in the late Ming Dynasty, were all born here.
