Shi was from Nanyang, Jingzhou, and there were many Nanyang people who were active on the stage at the end of Han Dynasty. Let's review the list again: Shi, He Jin, Yan Gu, Zhang Wen, He Yongyang, Cen, Zong Cheng, Zong, Zong Yu, Guitai, Hu Ye, Wen Pin and Mclynn Killman Liu.
Stone is not so conspicuous in this star list. He is famous for his calligraphy. After Emperor Gaozu founded Hongdu School, he recruited hundreds of calligraphers all over the world, and Shi was one of them. Shi is best at "eight-part essay". In his works, there are not only Chinese characters more than ten feet long, but also thousands of words can be accommodated between square inches, so Shi is a leader in this field.
"Spirit emperor good book, sign the world work book Yu Hongdou door hundreds of people. Eight points say that the right official is the most important, one big word and one thousand small words-"broken books"
Although Shi's calligraphy attainments are very high, he is good at taking care of himself and is unwilling to pass on his skills to others. Shi likes drinking, too. He often has no money to go to restaurants to drink. Because he can write a good hand, he will write an inscription on the wall of the restaurant so that people around him can pay for wine. He doesn't want too much. After he calculated that the money he got was enough to buy wine, he shoveled out the written words and stopped to show them.
"Sometimes you don't get money for drinking in restaurants, because books are walls, and people who come here pay for wine." -"Jin Shu Wei Heng Chuan".
Shi thinks highly of himself. Every time he finishes writing a new book, he has to cut out his handwriting and burn it completely so that others can't see it. But even though Shi took precautions, some people tried to steal one or two things from him. In order to observe Shi's handwriting, Liang Hu deliberately got Shi drunk, and when Shi was drunk, he took away his works that had not been destroyed. The reason why Liang Hu did this was that Shi didn't want to teach his disciples. On the other hand, Shi's works are also attractive enough.
"Every book needs to be cut and burned. Liang Hu was drinking for the edition, so he got drunk and stole his shuttlecock "—— Biography of Wei Heng in the Book of Jin"
With the death of Emperor Ling of the Han Dynasty and the turmoil at the end of the Han Dynasty, Shi appeared in Yuan Shu camp. He once wrote an inscription for Gengqiu, a subordinate department of Yuan Dynasty, which has never been recorded since. Later, it was inherited by history, and it was taken by Cao Cao and Jingzhou. Because Gu Liang and Cao Cao had some feuds, Gu Liang asked for help, because he was good at writing eight-part essay to avoid death. Cao Cao's evaluation of his works is better than Shi Guan Yi's. However, being able to compare with others shows that Shi was famous for his calligraphy at that time.
