The following is a detailed introduction to the Haian County Museum brought to you by Zhongda Consulting.

Hai'an County Museum

Hai'an County Museum has a total construction area of ??1,085 square meters and a collection of more than 1,100 cultural relics. There are "Exhibition of the Life and Achievements of Mr. Han Guojun", "Selection of Cultural Relics from the Museum's Collection", "Site of the Joint Anti-Japanese Symposium", "Former Residence of Mr. Han Guojun", "West Flower Hall where Chen Yi met with Mr. Han Guojun", etc.

The former residence faces south and is a complete set of four-entry houses. In front of the gate is a granite stone street donated by the directors of Hai'an Town in the 25th year of Guangxu's reign (1899). The main gate building facing the street is majestic and has 9 hollow brick carvings, including "Blessings from Heavenly Officials", "Magu's Birthday Blessings", and "Deer Ming Wutong", which are full of charm. On both sides of the gate are a pair of white rectangular stone drums engraved with the patterns of "Eight Immortals of Darkness" and "Lions Playing with Balls". On the left and right sides of the door wall are inlaid "Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit - Site of the Joint Anti-Japanese Symposium" and " "Hai'an County Museum" white marble sign.

The gate in the fourth entrance hall of the former residence is very unique. It is not only exquisitely crafted, but also decorated with ice-flowered glass. The lower part of each door is carved with incised pictures, such as "Plum, Orchid, Bamboo and Chrysanthemum", "Eight Horses", various flowers and birds, or various landscapes, making these doors look very elegant and beautiful. On the wall of the cloister connecting the second and third entrances, "Ten Scenes of Three Ponds in Haian" written by Xiao Haiqing, the Haian Inspection Department of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, and written by Zhong Zhenzi, a calligrapher, in four styles of real cursive and seal script is engraved on the wall.

Enter the small hexagonal door on the east side of the hall and enter the fire lane. In front of you is a high wall that separates the former residence from its east neighbor. The high wall is covered with ivy with green leaves, and the branches are twining and overlapping. . The lanes on the ground covered with green moss between the brick joints are like a carpet with green grids on a gray background. They are laid from the small courtyard in front of the second gate to the front of a small train carriage-style bungalow.
