Brief introduction of Liu mingzhou

Liu Mingzhou, male, Herry Liu, Han nationality, born in 1934, is a contemporary calligrapher, a ceramic sculptor, a member of China Calligraphers Association, a master of arts and crafts in Guangxi, and an associate researcher in Qinzhou Cultural Center. He devoted his life to studying regular script and learning from the previous dynasties, published 9 volumes of calligraphy brushes and pen copybooks for national distribution, and won the Guangxi Bronze Drum Award and the first prize of the National Calligraphy Competition for 29 times.

Liu Mingzhou 195 1 joined the work, 1988 began to learn ceramic sculpture. 1992 after his retirement, he devoted himself to the ceramic seal cutting in Ni Xing, Qinzhou, covering Foshan in Guangdong, Yixing in Jiangsu, Jingdezhen in Jiangxi, Rongchang in Sichuan and Jianshui in Yunnan.

In the past 10 years, Liu Mingzhou has been devoted to the research of pottery sculpture. The work "Ni Xing Pottery" won the first prize of 1998 Guangdong lettering competition, and the work was collected by Guangdong Provincial Museum and Treasure Hall. In 2000, he participated in the "Second Top Ten Invitational Tournament of Contemporary Excellent Printmaking Artists in China". His Ni Xing ceramic works, such as Hundred Years Hanging Plate, Fairy Ball Bottle and Dragon Gentleman's Clock, are famous for their skillful knife cutting and beautiful words, which are deeply loved by experts and treasured by major collectors at home and abroad.
