I feel that for high school students or college students, it should be different from those children, mainly because their fonts have not been finalized and they are easy to accept new fonts. Therefore, as long as you have the right guidance, choose the right font, the right method and persistent attitude, you can achieve good results in a short time.
For high school students or college students, I estimate that the font may have been almost finalized, and it may not be so easy to practice pen writing well (but don't be discouraged). I'm not sure if you still have some bad habits, such as: backward strokes (the strokes are out of order), which are difficult to correct.
Personally, if you just tinker with the existing fonts and choose fonts similar to your own, you may not learn the good ones and lose the bad ones, so the more you practice, the uglier you get.
I have some experience for your reference:
First of all, we should completely forget the previous font (this may be difficult to do), and start from scratch, starting with the most basic stippling strokes (that is, point, horizontal, vertical, left, press, etc.). ).
Then practice the structure. I think what is different from writing with brush is that the most important thing for writing with pen is structure, and the quality of structure directly affects the aesthetic feeling of writing. Therefore, it is most important to write a good pen and ink structure. However, I am thinking that there may be a problem that is difficult for you to solve now, that is, it is difficult to forget the previous fonts, and old habits are often brought into the new fonts during the posting process. To change this situation, I think the best way may be to choose a block letter completely different from my previous font for temporary writing. Judging from several pen copybooks I have read, I think Pang Zhonghua's copybooks are still good, elegant and open, with the tail of the pen naturally revealing, using the pen freely and having its own personality. Practice orthography in block letters. Practice for a month or two, maybe a little longer, and you will basically be in shape.
When the shape is straight, I also want to choose a running script copybook that is completely different from my original font and I think it is very beautiful to copy. After two or three years of practice, you can learn new fonts.
In the process of practice, you may encounter such problems. In the first few days, you made rapid progress, but after a while, you felt that your writing was getting worse and worse. This is normal. At this time, we must hold our horses and continue to practice. After a period of hard work, we can get out of the predicament and get on the right track.
The purpose of copying is to forget the previous words, remember the words in the copybook and use them. After that, some relationships between words and lines will be carried out, that is, the so-called painting and painting exercises.
I think, first of all, we should pay attention to the center of gravity when practicing writing. If the center of gravity is unstable, the words will not be neat, and there will be a feeling of falling. It's like a person standing up straight with his center of gravity on his hips. Move the position, and the center of gravity will not be between the hips. Writing depends on adjusting strokes to stabilize the center of gravity. The strokes have changed, but the center of gravity has not changed. This is called deformation, which makes the words on the whole paper look good.
Second, pay attention to line problems (straight lines and arcs). I think: vertical, must be vertical; Horizontal, there can be some changes. Clicking, skimming and pinching are even more varied.
Third, pay attention to uniformity and density. The font size is uniform and the density is consistent.
Fourth, we should pay attention to four directions (horizontal, vertical, left and right). There are left and right points in the horizontal direction and up and down points in the vertical direction. Skimming and pressing are staggered, or left and right. Grasp these four directions, you will feel and the strokes will come out.
Finally, we should pay attention to five combinations (overlap, symmetry, support, contention and concession). Stacking, like printed words now, is consistent in both directions. If not, the blank distance is uneven, then the written words are not clear and not good-looking. When it's arranged, the words will look good. Symmetry means left-right symmetry, whether it is a single word or other glyphs, we should pay attention to left-right symmetry. Support, that is, the center of gravity mentioned above, is the interpenetration of strokes (that is, the overlap of each stroke for a single word).
For people who just want to write beautifully, but don't want to develop into calligraphers in this respect, it is enough to do the above. I think this is the best I can do now. This is my little experience in practicing hard pen calligraphy.
