What is the origin of the construction of Western Zhou calligraphy order since Zhao Kang?
In the era of Zhao Kang, the order construction of calligraphy in the Western Zhou Dynasty began with the emphasis on Yu Ding. "Da Ding Yu Ming" is the earliest masterpiece discovered so far, and the grandeur of design and volume shows the tolerance of a big country. In the composition, we can see that the arrangement of the writers is very reasonable, orderly and rigorous. Since then, although some works have followed the writing method of lines without columns, the writing method of lines with columns initiated by Da Meng Ding Ming has quickly become a trend and spread. The line quality of "Da Ding Yu Ming" is still tough in Gu Zhuo, which retains some old traces, but its structure is more upright and rigorous than previous works. By the time of Zhao Dynasty, the lines of Zhao Qi's inscriptions were very smooth, and the brushwork, structure and composition were very close to the typical calligraphy of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
