In painting, he is good at landscape painting and ink bamboo. His early painting style was unique, his later painting style was simple and naive, and his brushwork was concise and far-reaching. Calligraphy, mainly good at official script. It has a high position in the poetry circle, and is called "Yuan Sijia" with Huang, Wang Meng and Zhenwu.
