Introduction to Luo Yong

Luo Yong, male, born in November 1942, is from Qiyang, Hunan Province. Senior Economist. Graduated from the Chinese Department of Guilin Normal College. It was guided by Mr. Ren Zheng, Mr. Huang Yun, Shuai Lide and others. His works are rigorous, graceful in structure and graceful in manner. His works have been selected into major calligraphy exhibitions at home and abroad for many times and published in newspapers and periodicals. They are also collected by museums and memorial halls of Zhou Enlai, Peng Dehuai, Ji Hongchang and Peng Pai. In 1988, he participated in the International Exhibition of the Yellow River Stele Forest and the Poetry and Book Hall, and was selected for the first new calligraphy competition; in 1989, he won the Outstanding Prize in the "Calligraphy Saint" International Calligraphy Competition in Linyi, China; in 1988, he won the Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Excellence Award for the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; in 1991 Won the Silver Medal at the Sino-Japanese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in Yaizu City, Japan, and the Tenmangu Crown Award for collection; in 1992, he won the Excellence Award in the Yingzhou West Lake International Friendly Competition; in 1993, he won the Shenzhen Silver Sea Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Seal Competition and the Emperor's Cup International Calligraphy and Painting Award In the 1990s, his works were selected for the Gold Medal of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Competition, and he was selected as one of China's Cross-Century Calligraphy Artists in 1995 and 1996.
