Zhou Erfu (19141.3—20041.8), formerly known as Zhou Zushi, was born in Jingde, Anhui Province, and was a famous modern writer and calligrapher. He used to be vice minister of culture, honorary member of Chinese Writers Association and consultant of China Calligraphers Association. He is the author of the novel Morning in Shanghai, Dr. Bethune, the Great Wall of Wan Li, the collection of short stories, Spring in the Valley, and the Collection of Weekly Prose (four volumes). The novel The Great Wall of Wan Li won the "Five Ones" engineering literature prize in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China.
