Who is the hero of the story "A Book for the White Goose"?

It is Wang Xizhi

Among Wang Xizhi's regular script works, Huang Tingjing is the most representative, leaving an interesting story about the creation of this work. According to legend, there was a Taoist in Yinshan who liked Wang Xizhi's calligraphy very much and wanted to ask Wang Xizhi to write a Huang Tingjing. He had already prepared silk paper, but Wang Xizhi was already famous at that time, and the Taoist was worried that Wang Xizhi would not agree. Later, after much inquiry, Taoist learned that Wang Xizhi had always liked geese, so he deliberately raised a group of very cute big fat geese to show that he would act according to circumstances. One day, Wang Xizhi passed through Yin Shan by boat. The Taoist priest heard the news and rushed his flock of geese to the place where Wang Xizhi passed. Wang Xizhi saw a flock of white geese swimming in the river, paddling with their hands and holding their heads high, with white feathers and beautiful shapes. I don't want to mention how much I like them. He stopped the boat and watched it again and again, reluctant to leave. The Taoist priest on the side sees it in his eyes and enjoys it in his heart. He felt the opportunity came and asked Wang Xizhi if he wanted to take these geese away. Wang Xizhi asked the Taoist priest to make an offer. The Taoist priest pretended to say: How can such a good goose be willing to sell? But if you really like it, sir, write me a book in exchange for it. Hearing this, Wang Xizhi immediately agreed, and immediately spent half a day writing a volume of Huang Tingjing with great interest and giving it to the Taoist priest. If the Taoist priest gets the treasure, he will immediately put the geese in a cage and let Wang Xizhi take them away. This is the story of "Book for White Goose" that people eulogized later.
