1. Yuan Jun (AD 238 to AD 264): A general of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. He was famous for his meritorious service. During the Jianxing period, he followed Cao Shuang to conquer the Shu Han Dynasty and performed well in many battles.
2. Yuan Jun (1457-1515): A writer, poet, calligrapher and painter in the early Ming Dynasty, with the courtesy name Zijun, he was good at poetry and calligraphy.
3. Yuan Jun (1923 to 2016): an older generation proletarian revolutionary of the Communist Party of China, named Zhijun. He was a Red Army soldier and a general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army during the Anti-Japanese War. He made important contributions to the history of the Chinese revolution.
