As the youngest male idol group in China, tfboys has become popular all over the country after only one year of debut. They have endorsed many international brands such as Shulang and Yake; they have become promotional ambassadors for the CCTV program "Young China Strong"; and they have successively performed for Hunan Satellite TV and CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Galas. Their albums and MVs are on the charts on major music video websites, and even have a click rate of over 10 million!
Now on the stage, they have outstanding talents, charming demeanor, and a huge number of fans. This has to be said. A miracle. After getting to know this group in depth, I discovered that the success of these three fourteen- and fifteen-year-old boys was equally hard-won.
In fact, tfboys was already famous before they debuted. Leader Wang Junkai and member Wang Yuan were originally from a small group called TF Family. They also released several singles. However, due to the limited capabilities of the company, Wang Junkai and Wang Yuan published many cover songs and videos online. The venue is also very simple, just an underground passage or a KTV. Later, many parents thought that their children had no future in the company, so they took their children and left one after another. Only the youngest Wang Junkai persisted. Later, Wang Yuan joined the TF family, and the two of them became the lead singers. They persisted in training and laid a solid foundation for their subsequent debut. And another one, Yi Yang Qianxi, who is far away in Beijing, is even more versatile. He started learning various dances at the age of five and has a wide range of interests. His specialties include calligraphy, painting, hip-hop, folk dance, modern dance, drumming, magic, face-changing, etc. He has been a spokesperson for many advertising companies since he was a child, and has also participated in various competition TV programs. He can be regarded as a child star. So far, Yi Yang Qianxi has been dancing for more than eight years. As a young kid born in the 2000s, this kind of perseverance is beyond the reach of many adults.
Because of the persistence of these three people, they finally got together, each making up for their own shortcomings and becoming the most popular and youngest star artist at the moment. Many people are fascinated by their innocence, cuteness, and handsomeness, but most people are deeply attracted by their different shining points. I don’t know how many fans of brothers and sisters who are older than them regard these three little boys as their motivation to move forward and re-adhere to the dreams that they once wanted to give up or even gave up on. This is a kind of energy, but also a kind of belief.
In fact, dreams are not as complicated as imagined. It’s just that many people care too much about the results and ignore the process, so they become ordinary and mediocre. We often give up our dreams in order to weigh our interests, and our dreams gradually leave you, making everything become a thing of the past, a memory, and a reason for fear and cowardice. This resulted in getting nothing in the end. But we never understand: the more great something is, the more time and energy it takes. The reason why it failed was because the time was not up, the effort was not enough, and I did not persist to the end. Without the determination to persevere, there is no capital for success. For all difficulties, the first thing to do is to persevere. If there is no persistence, there will be no solution to suffering, no room for progress, and no final success. Persistence is the most valuable quality, and there is no easier way in this world than persistence.
Just like Wang Junkai said: If there is a shortcut to dreams, then the name of this road must be persistence.
