Jin Shengtan pointed out in "Reading the Calligraphy of the Fifth Talented Scholar":
A certain person said that "Water Margin" was better than "Historical Records", but no one believed it, but they did not know that this person was not talking nonsense. In fact, "Historical Records" uses text to determine events; "Water Margin" uses text to create events. To use writing to move things forward, something must have happened first, but to calculate a piece of writing, even though he was a talented historian, it was still hard work after all. That's not the case because of the writing. I just follow the writing style and it's up to me to cut the high points and make up for the low points.
