He Huiwen’s achievements and honors

In February 2006, the calligraphy works were selected into the 15th Mass Calligraphy Works Exhibition of Henan Province. In December 2006, his calligraphy works were selected into the 18th Mass Calligraphy Works Exhibition of Henan Province.

In May 2007, the calligraphy works were exhibited in the Beijing Invitational Exhibition of Calligraphy and Painting Works of Old Cadres, Old Generals, Old Party Members, Old Soldiers, Old Experts, Old Teachers, Old Workers, Old Models, and Old Calligraphers and Painters in the Burning Years "Won the gold medal and was included in the "Collection of Contemporary Chinese Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Artists".

In May 2007, he won first prize in the calligraphy category at the first Mi Fu Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition to commemorate the 900th anniversary of Mi Fu's death, and was awarded the honorary title of "Outstanding Inheriter of Ancient Chinese Culture".

In June 2007, he won the second prize in the call for submissions of the “Second ‘Prosperous China’ National Calligraphy and Art Competition”.

In August 2007, he was appointed as the final visiting professor of the Henan Famous Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association.

In September 2007, he won the silver medal in the third "China Cup" National New Beijing and New Olympics Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. In September 2007, he won the Art Gold Medal in the National Painting and Calligraphy Competition commemorating the 80th anniversary of Mao Zedong's Autumn Harvest Uprising.

In August 2007, calligraphy works were selected into the "China·Inner Mongolia Fourth International Grassland Culture Festival and the Eighth Zhaojun Cultural Festival Series in Hohhot" and "The Tenth Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters". In 2008, he won the first prize for calligraphy works in the "August One Cup" Literary and Art Grand Prix to commemorate the August 1st Nanchang Uprising and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

In August 2008, his calligraphy works were selected into the "I add glory to the Olympics" city calligraphy and painting exhibition for the elderly.

In October 2008, his calligraphy works won the Excellence Award at the First Peasant Art Festival in Pingdingshan. In June 2009, his calligraphy works won the Outstanding Work Award at the 18th Mass Calligraphy Works Exhibition of Henan Province.

In May 2010, his calligraphy works won the Outstanding Work Award at the 19th Mass Calligraphy Exhibition of Henan Province.

In July 2010, his works were selected into the Pingdingshan Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition organized by the 89th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, and won the Calligraphy Excellence Award.

In May 2014, he was rated as a national first-class calligrapher by the Ministry of Culture.
