Introduction to Pan Boying

Pan Boying (1904-1966) was born in Huaining, Anhui. The original name was Shi, with the courtesy name Boying. Later, it was named Xing, with the nicknames Fu Gong You Fa Weng and Que Qu Weng. The other names were Gu Yun. Modern calligrapher, poet, novelist. He is the author of the novels "The Waves of the Human Sea", "Hidden Punishment", "Strong Soul", "Ya Ying", "Can Yu" and "Five Notes of Jian'an". His treatises include "Miscellaneous Essays on Calligraphy", "Chinese Calligraphy", "A Brief Essay on Chinese Calligraphy", and his published works include "Pan Boying's Grass and Ink Traces", etc. Pan Boying is a world-recognized calligraphy master. When talking about Pan Shu, many people say that he is "an active admirer of the calligraphy style of the two kings".
