First, the essence of Heart Sutra is "life and liberation"
The short 260 words in the Heart Sutra point directly to the Prajna Heart Sutra: no two.
What is "two"? "Two" is a contradiction. Ordinary people have differences because of persistence, and there are various contradictions because of differences (in fact, contradictions don't matter), and troubles arise from this.
There are many contradictions in the world where human beings live, and these contradictions are all "two": man and nature are contradictions; Individuals and collectives and society are contradictory; Rights and obligations are contradictory; People's feelings and reason are contradictory; Spirit and * are contradictory.
In the process of growing up, many people, on the one hand, are ambitious and want to make contributions, on the other hand, sometimes they want to escape and be happy. This is also a contradiction, the contradiction between life and birth. In a word, our life is full of contradictions. One of these contradictions is the contradiction between life and liberation, and in philosophical terms, the contradiction between existence and transcendence.
As soon as we came to this world, we turned and left on the track of life under the impetus of a powerful force: going to school, taking exams, entering higher schools, getting employed, getting married and having children, one after another, without a chance to breathe, always asking you to move forward and always choosing one way or another.
You have to bear a series of consequences after choosing a teacher, such as career. If you choose a teacher, you should prepare lessons, eat chalk dust, follow up with others and introduce yourself. The first sentence is: I am a teacher, so your marriage will definitely develop.
This is life, this is life. Some people describe it as singing opera with a back stone, which is very tiring.
Sartre, a French existentialist writer, used "nothingness" to describe human existence. This kind of nothingness is a huge weight, which weighs heavily on people and can't be avoided, because you always choose to move forward and can't desert. You can do nothing, but you can't think nothing.
Faced with such a life, many people want to go to another planet and take a few days off. This is the problem of transcendence and liberation.
The problem of people's life is nothing more than solving the problems of food, clothing, housing and transportation and the reproduction of families and races, and liberation and transcendence are the ultimate concern of people.
Where does life come from and where does death go? Who am I? How to get freedom? These are all religious issues. Almost every country. Every culture has its own way to solve these problems, either witchcraft or mature religion.
* Religion promises a happy and complete Millennium kingdom, and Islam provides the protection of Allah. Buddha said: Life is bitter (empty) and there are many troubles, but if we let go of persistence, now suffering is empty, troubles are bodhi, and life is liberation and nirvana.
Zen fully develops Buddhism's liberation theory, requiring us to let go now, without distinction, to let go of ordinary people as Buddhas, and to let go of the world of concubines as pure land, so that we can realize our freedom in our busy lives.
"Life Zen" holds high the theme of Zen to prove nirvana and enlightenment, and advocates observing freedom in life, proving liberation in busy life, showing free, ethereal and clear Zen realm in a pluralistic world, and knowing your true colors.
The Heart Sutra profoundly expounds this point in theory.
There is a sentence at the beginning of Heart Sutra: "Avalokitesvara bodhisattva, who has been walking as deeply as paramita for a long time, saw that the five aggregates were empty and suffered a lot." This sentence is the general outline of the Heart Sutra, and then it is repeatedly explained from different angles what is "five aggregates are empty".
The word "Zhao" in this sentence is translated vividly. What is a "photo"? The original fact, because there is no light, is randomly divided and groped blindly. When the switch is turned on, the light appears, revealing the true face of Lushan Mountain: Oh, so that's it, but the five aggregates are empty.
It can be seen that "five aggregates are empty" is consistent, not the creation and invention of a bodhisattva. "Wu Yun" and "emptiness" are two different things, they are not two different things.
As mentioned above, because of persistence and separation, the world of ordinary people is full of contradictions, and the first sentence of Heart Sutra bridges a new contradiction: the five aggregates are empty. Five aggregates are empty, and empty is five aggregates; Five aggregates are not different from emptiness, and emptiness is not different from five aggregates.
The five elements are color, acceptance, thinking, behavior and knowledge, which summarize human senses, perception, thinking, emotion and will, and this is the whole connotation of human existence. Empty is transcendence, liberation, consciousness and freedom.

The Heart Sutra has completely solved the headache of many religious scholars. It convinces people to move towards the truest liberation at present.
Emptiness is the whole of our life. As long as we don't separate and snuggle up, we will return to China now, and the pure land is now. Therefore, when the Bodhisattva saw that the five aggregates were empty, she went through all the hardships.
In fact, there is nothing at this time ("ignorance, ignorance, no suffering"). There is no pain, no discomfort, because the heart is free, there is no terror, and it is far from reversing dreams. It is nirvana.
The Heart Sutra reveals the original intention of "Zen of Life". Zen is a kind of life. It wants us to go, to live, to sit, to lie, to carry firewood and carry water, and to prove our freedom. As long as we have the courage to recognize and assume the inherent Buddha nature, then our life will be full of Zen and will always be Zen.
Modern people living in modern material civilization are full of five meanings (persistence) and have obstacles. In the narrow box building, in the dirty industrial waste gas, in the tension of various interpersonal relationships, I am too tired to breathe and feel at ease.
"Life Zen" warns people not to be divorced from the concept of life, but to build a life of truth, goodness and beauty with a calm mind.
Second, avalokitesvara and freedom-a dedicated life is Zen.
The names of Buddha and Bodhisattva are thought-provoking, from which we can realize the moral achievements of sages.
The concept of "Guanyin Bodhisattva is at ease" in Heart Sutra gives us the impression that it is free and easy, with no attachments. This bodhisattva also has a well-known name: Guanyin.
Guanyin and freedom, literally, these two names express two contradictory styles.
The Lotus Sutra says that avalokitesvara Bodhisattva sought to save her suffering, and avalokitesvara freed her. However, in the vast sea of suffering, people are crying for help, so the Bodhisattva is single-minded, and now has thousands of hands and eyes, caring for the dharma world and protecting all beings, praying for thousands of answers, and no one has broken his promise.
In the eyes of ordinary people, avalokitesvara should be overwhelmed with thousands of hands and eyes. How can it be "comfortable"?
This is the realm of bodhisattva's compassion and wisdom: it is both avalokitesvara and freedom, freedom in avalokitesvara, nirvana in selfless dedication, saving all sentient beings with endless compassion and giving people freedom and self-freedom. This is the real freedom.
Ease is not to turn a blind eye to the sufferings of others, to turn a deaf ear to their help, to leave the crowd and enjoy the mountains and rivers, or to return with the wind, nor to look on coldly and stand aloof. This is not a Zen of life, but a Zen of dead wood and a Zen of stone.
The concept of freedom advocated by "Zen of Life" is not to make us feel like cold ashes and stagnant water in life, but to devote ourselves to life with a detached attitude, to do the cause of joining the WTO with the spirit of being born, to fulfill our human relations, to be loyal to our duties, or to be merciful and willing to be happy and affectionate.
French writer romain rolland said: It is frivolous to defeat the enemy without fighting, and it is false to defeat the enemy without fighting.
There are two sentences in the Shurangama Sutra: "If you give this deep heart to the dust brake, it is called gratitude to the Buddha", and the Buddha's grace is the grace of all beings.
The walkers of "Life Zen" are brave enough to bear the sufferings of all beings. His life is a life without self-dedication, because without self-dedication, it is also a comfortable life.
All buddhas and bodhisattvas have achieved the fruits of wisdom all their lives.
Buddha Sakyamuni, from asceticism to statement, has spent decades of stormy life and has set foot all over the Ganges. He comforted those who were tortured by the troubles of life: the poor, the nobles and the Brahmins. He inspired their dull hearts, gave them light and the courage to control their own destiny.
In an era of underdeveloped science and backward transportation and communication tools, how much effort is needed! And the Buddha is always so calm, serene and full of love, just like the spring breeze and sunshine cover everything without stopping. Finally, on Lingjiu Mountain, flowers and laughter spread Zen, and the light of the heart lamp shines today.

Turn your mind, turn your brain, turn all your senses, including every pore, and spend your whole life reading classics. You will naturally have a corresponding day if you are skilled in kung fu. This kind of reading is no longer a literal reading, but a kind of reading.
The text of Heart Sutra is concise, so that readers can savor and read it carefully in life, prove their life with Heart Sutra and interpret it with life.
For example, "*, emptiness is color". A lot of good knowledge has explained this sentence clearly through the ages. Can you really understand it after reading it? -You can't let go. You have to doubt it.
Other people's explanation or other people's explanation, I didn't hold the true meaning of this sentence in my hand. At this time, we will gradually participate in life.
In this process, your body and mind will be gradually adjusted, and your attitude and lifestyle will gradually change. One day, the mystery will be solved. "Drink water, be warm and know yourself." At 6 o'clock, you will be full of happiness, life will remain as usual, but the connotation will change greatly.
Life Zen advocates reading and transmitting Buddhist scriptures in life, and understanding the true meaning of Buddhist scriptures through the "participation" of Zuchan. This kind of "participation" can be said to be intuition, or it can be said to be a lifetime to hit the door of the problem.
It is lively, because it happens in life (rather than thinking behind closed doors), and the procedures of life evolve as usual; It is also pursuing, but it is unique, so is it, so is it, until the mystery is broken and the light appears.
