The full name of "The Manuscript for Sacrificing a Nephew" is "The Manuscript for Sacrificing a Nephew to Zanshan Ji Wenming", commonly known as "The Manuscript for Sacrificing a Nephew". It was written by Yan Zhenqing, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, and was later known as "the second running script in the world". The original is now in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. This work is a draft written by Yan Zhenqing in memory of his nephew. Because this book was written in extreme grief and indignation, the words fluctuated with the calligrapher's mood, increasing the number of mistakes and sometimes smearing it. These are the natural expressions of calligrapher's spirit and peacetime skill.
