Characteristics of practicing Chinese characters for two weeks

First, separate calligraphy from writing. That is, the separation of art and technology.

When people talk about practicing calligraphy, they always find it difficult, and they will quote their predecessors' views, such as "one word can't last for a hundred days" to explain it. In fact, there is a difference between what we write with a hard pen and what we learn to write with a brush.

1, different tools. Previously, people used a brush to practice calligraphy, but now they use a hard pen (including pens, ballpoint pens and pencils). ), much simpler than a brush.

2. Different concepts. Writing and calligraphy are two concepts that are both related and different. Writing is the foundation of calligraphy, and calligraphy is the improvement stage of writing or the artistry of writing. Calligraphy is for people to appreciate, and it is necessary to pay attention to both standardization and personal artistic style. It can't be done overnight. Calligraphy is only the occupation of a few people who are interested in the art of calligraphy. For most people, practicing calligraphy is not to become calligraphers, but to communicate (such as taking exams, doing homework, writing letters, drafting documents, etc. ). Just write the handwriting in a standard, correct and clear way, which makes people feel comfortable. Our method is based on abandoning the art of calligraphy to teach people to write, and from a practical point of view, let people spend less time writing well and meet the needs of daily work and life.

Second, learn running script directly.

"Running script" is one of the common calligraphy styles, which was formed in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Running script is close to regular script, but not as stiff and dignified as regular script, and close to cursive script, but not as scribbled as cursive script. Its strokes are continuous and clear, and it is the most practical font. Students and adults above Grade One can learn running script directly when practicing calligraphy. This seems to be inconsistent with what the ancients said: learning books must lay a solid foundation for regular script, and then write running script. Why did the ancients suggest that you must learn to block letters before writing running script? Because the ancients began to learn calligraphy in the enlightenment stage. There are two main purposes for learning block letters: one is to know Chinese characters and understand their strokes and structures; The second is to lay the foundation. When the ancients wrote with a brush, they had to have a solid foundation to use it well. However, we are different now. The object of calligraphy practice is students with primary school education or above. After the literacy stage, I can write commonly used Chinese characters, but they are not good-looking.

Running script is not regular script. Write quickly. Running script has its own writing rules, which are different from regular script in four aspects: changing the order of strokes, ghostwriting, saving strokes and Lian Bi. Let's choose a few words to compare.

Third, pay attention to methods.

There must be a successful way. The same is true of writing. In the past, many people couldn't write well because: First, they didn't know how to Lian Bi, and even if they were linked together, they could write regular script quickly; Second, I feel bored and can't persist. The letter and number method of Wan Ping's calligraphy effectively solved this problem. Alphanumeric method is a Lian Bi to understand words through letters and numbers, which is simple and interesting. For people who have never had conjunctions, the effect is also very obvious. Let's look at a few examples:

In the process of training, use letters and numbers for training. It can not only improve the training effect, but also cultivate students' interest in practicing Chinese characters

Fourth, grasp the key points.

Among the 3500 commonly used words, there are 2054 words with left and right structures, so most of the words are written with left and right structures.

Brush emphasizes strokes, while hard pen emphasizes structure. Most words with left and right structures can be divided into the following five categories.

The writing requirement of these five types of characters is one sentence: if you draw horizontally on the right, you will converge to the middle, and if you don't draw horizontally, you will extend. As shown in the following figure

For special cases, that is, Chinese characters with lateral left and right are generally of the type of tight left and loose right. The above requirements cannot be applied. such as

Fifth, focus on overall training.

The purpose of practicing calligraphy is not to write a word well, but to write a whole article well. The key is to write a sentence well. To write a good sentence, the key is to feel that two adjacent words should be well matched. So at the beginning of training, the training of model words is combined with the training of word formation. And put forward the requirements of word combination: adjacent words should be compact, pay attention to interleaving and avoiding each other, and the size should be separated. Constantly strengthen students and cultivate the consciousness of the whole article. Habits are mainly formed through conscious or unconscious repetition. In the process of training, students gradually cultivate the consciousness of the whole article. When writing a line, you can divide it by size, sparse but not empty, dense but not crowded. The whole word is neat, vivid, lively and elegant.
