Yao Dianzhong’s calligraphy

Yao Dianzhong’s calligraphy includes inscriptions, seal script, official script, running script, and regular script. He mainly focuses on running and seal script, and also does painting and sealing. Calligraphy mostly includes self-composed poems, which together with painting and sealing, are known as the "Four Wonders". He has published a large-scale "Yao Dianzhong Calligraphy Art" and six other calligraphy collections.

His calligraphy works have also been included in many large-scale calligraphy and painting collections, and he has been invited to inscribe, inscribe, and engrave tablets for various important social institutions and contemporary historical figures. Some of his works have been exhibited in Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People, Collection of the National Art Museum of China and many museums. His works were selected into the first, second, and third national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions as well as other large-scale calligraphy and painting exhibitions at home and abroad. He has held many personal calligraphy exhibitions in various places and has been highly praised.

Magazines such as "Chinese Calligraphy" and "Calligraphy" have published special features on him many times; CCTV, China Educational Television and Shanxi Provincial and Municipal TV Stations have filmed and broadcast feature films on him.
