In the early morning of May 25th, 216, Mr. Yang Jiang, a famous writer and translator, died of illness at the age of 15. Mr. Yang Jiang, the same age as the Revolution of 1911, was born in a noble family and was gifted with literary talent. He not only opened up his own world in literature, but also was envied by his beautiful marriage with Qian Zhongshu, a great master of literature and history. Qian Zhongshu once called him "the most talented woman and the most virtuous wife" before his death.
Today, Hainan Weekly shares with you the anecdotes of Mr. Yang Jiang and his friends, her works and memories for future generations.
On May 25th, Mr. Yang Jiang passed away, and the three of us finally got together in heaven.
In the 198s, I worked in China Academy of Social Sciences, met Mr. Qian Zhongshu several times, went to Qian Zhai once because of my work, and met Mr. and Mrs. Qian Yang at the same time.
If I remember correctly, Mr. Qian and Mr. Yang lived in the "Minister Building" in Nansha ditch, Beijing. The Minister Building in that era was not comparable to the apartment building that is better now, that is, it was spacious. But considering the living environment of Yang Yi, a new academic at that time, he was almost "slum", after all, Mr. Qian enjoyed the treatment of deputy ministerial level-he was then the vice president of China Academy of Social Sciences. In 1987, it was the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. As the editor of the journal, my colleague Lao Li and I went to Qianzhai for a manuscript and asked him to write some appropriate words.
To tell the truth, in my mind at that time, money had a high academic status, and it was somewhat difficult for Mr. Wang to write this kind of appropriate text. However, in the eyes of others, after all, he was appointed as the vice president, so it was appropriate to show his mind.
Knock on Mr. Qian's door carefully. The door is opened by a slim and gentle old lady, of course, Mr. Yang Jiang. At that time, a little book written by Mr. Yang Qian Zhongshu was popular in China, from which we read many interesting things about them.
after we explained our purpose, Mr. yang invited us to sit in the study, and she went back to the kitchen to cook. In fact, there aren't many books in this study. What is striking is that there are two big desks. Under Mr. Qian's glass countertop, there is still a well-printed Mona Lisa, and nave is hung with a couplet by Wu Dacheng, a calligrapher in the late Qing Dynasty. It's really a bit of a combination of Chinese and Western.
Just looking around, Mr. Qian came in, with his familiar kind smile, warm and alert eyes and a tea tray in one hand. We were all somewhat flattered. I want to express my admiration for him after school, but I can't find the right words after searching my heart.
Mr. Qian's peace finally relaxed us, and he quickly agreed to our request. A few days later, I received a letter from Mr. Qian. Except for the words "Fenxun", most of the words in the hundred-year-old greetings were cliches.
It is rumored that Mr. Qian has always been kind to strangers and young people, but he can't help being bitter to familiar people. Perhaps it is because people are familiar with each other, and all kinds of weaknesses (knowledge and personality) are fully revealed in Mr. Qian's eyes, in addition to his temperament. The two beautiful arcs of Mr. Qian's smiling eyes and lips bent by laughter, which I have seen, will become extremely penetrating ridicule with a slight change!
Since then, I have met Mr. Qian on several occasions. Although he was far away, his unique style was revealed in the details. Especially at the 1th anniversary meeting of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, perhaps he was inspired. When the leader was making a report, he took out his pen and kept writing. At that time, he was really completely immersed in his own world.
Not long ago, I checked my letters and found a letter from Mr. Qian, which was my business in China Social Sciences magazine. Probably a scholar who is familiar with Qian sent me an article, but I haven't seen any information for a long time. The scholar wrote to Mr. Qian to ask about it, and Mr. Qian sent a letter. The letter not only embodies Mr. Qian's earnest spirit, but also has beautiful calligraphy, which is a very chic running script.
