The prosperity of Guo Rongfu in A Dream of Red Mansions is amazing.
But there is one in Gao 'an, Jiangxi.
"Realistic version of Guo Rong Mansion" Jiajiagu Village
Brick and wood architecture, carved beams and painted columns
Being in it seems to have crossed the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
When you walk into Jiajiagu Village, you can see the words "Sheshan Jia Cun" written on the door. Blue bricks and tiles, eaves and corners, magnificent.
Jiajia ancient village is surrounded by mountains and waters, facing south, overlooking the mountains, with contiguous houses, fertile land and beautiful scenery. Gu Xiang in the village criss-crosses, and the roads are paved with blue bricks and granite. The deep rut marks bear witness to the vicissitudes of Jiajiacun.
The stone carvings of the 12 Zodiac under the social heap are simple and vivid, and have become a children's paradise for the children in the village. Children in the village ride them as wooden horses. Although their bodies have not moved, their hearts have flown out of here and into the outside world.
Ancient villages are divided into "inside the Pass" and "outside the Pass". There are six main types of buildings, namely ancestral hall, rain pavilion, lobby, official hall, living room and residential building. They are known as the "real Guo Rongfu", with an area of about 500 mu and more than 500 houses, including more than 300 houses of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and well-preserved hall houses 1 19. They are famous historical and cultural villages in China.
At first glance, the most amazing thing is that the Gu Xiang in the village is criss-crossed. The buildings are regularly arranged in sixty-four lanes derived from sixty-four hexagrams, but they are cleverly connected at the periphery, leaving only eight entrances and exits closed, making the whole village a castle-like closed structure. This concept of using the Eight Diagrams of the Book of Changes to design the layout is magnificent and full of wisdom, which has a commanding taste of autumn soldiers in the battlefield.
Walking on the pavement paved with blue bricks and granite, the deep rut marks seem to witness the vicissitudes of Jiajiacun. Complete sedan chair, exquisite embroidered building, exquisite stone carving and wood carving, all the way down the deep alley, you will find that every brick and tile here has a story.
There are many hall numbers in Jiajiagu Village, and there is a story behind each hall number. Most people's doors and windows are engraved with plum blossoms, which means that "the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from bitter cold" and warns future generations that "it takes a little bitterness to be a master."
The drainage system of ancient villages is scientific and reasonable, and it is still in use today. There are 12 ponds scattered in the village, which are used to store rainwater and treat sludge. Ancient buildings have a long history, with piled walls in appearance and wooden structures inside, which are divided into bucket type and beam type. The ancient village is full of temples, churches, shrines, temples, temples and academies. There are many cultural relics, such as sedan chairs, shrines, plaques, ancient ceramics and wooden furniture. The seven-story jade pagoda stands in the field in front of the ancient village.
Jia ancestral hall is the most representative building in Jia ancient village, and it is also the largest and most well-preserved building in ancient village. Jia ancestral hall is a ancestral hall with four halls. It is understood that it covers an area of 1.872 square meters and is divided into four parts: the Sun Temple, the Worship Pavilion, the Sleeping Hall and the Guanyin Hall. Crucially, Jade Pavilion, Baiting Pavilion, Bedroom and Kannonji are all located on the north-south central axis, and the layout of corridors, courtyards and wing rooms are all symmetrical along the central axis. This obviously follows the principle of symmetry in palace architecture. This is extremely rare in ancestral temples in the south of the Yangtze River. The "Dr. Zhong" plaque directly above the ancestral hall was given by the emperor to Jia Jia, the ancestor of Jia family.
Above the second rain pavilion is an algae well, which shrinks layer by layer and is decorated with eight diagrams lotus patterns.
In the third place, there are plaques such as "Desperate" and "Integrity" given by the emperor. The fourth "Zhou Jinting" is purlin, and Mo Bao of Schwab is still there. The myth that Jia Cun's brilliance will be told by future generations day and night has lasted for 500 years. The fourth hospital is Kannonji, in front of which there is a Taiping cylinder.
There is a pair of eight diagrams at the fifth entrance of "Baiting Pavilion", because it is said that there is a custom of "stepping on the fish's eyes in the eight diagrams" when going out. In the sixth bedroom, there is a memorial tablet of Jia Zu. Seventh, in Kannonji, the incense has never been broken since ancient times.
