The Kong Qian Monument is the seventh stone from the east veranda of the Confucius Temple to the north. It is 0.83 meters high, 0.53 meters wide and 0.22 meters thick. Engraved in the second year of Yongxing (154) of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It was first erected in front of Kong Qian's tomb in Konglin. There are halos and piercings on the tablets. The original eight lines of official script were crossed, and the calligraphy was very good. Now it has been completely destroyed, and many of the texts cannot be seen.
Kong Qian, courtesy name Deranger, was the 20th grandson of Confucius and the son of Du Weijun. The natural appearance of the young orchid stone will be remembered forever as a journey of filial piety and friendship, and a blessing to the family business.
