The second is shadow copy, which is to put it bluntly. Generally, copybooks bought by beginners are basically wrapped in paper. Shadow copying is actually very useful in calligraphy practice, such as the change of stroke thickness, the order of using pens, the regularity of structure and so on. But it is in this area that many beginners flinch. Shadow copying is not as good as red painting, and it can be clearly seen whether a person is covered with hard pen calligraphy. In fact, I don't think beginners need to panic in this link, because there are many factors involved, such as the characteristics of coated paper: smoothness. Have you noticed that this paper is actually a little smooth? If you write on it with a pen, you can't see any strength. There is also the quality of textured paper. A copybook is almost ten dollars, and it's lucky to earn two or three dollars when you sell a copybook. Therefore, textured paper is generally very thin. Of course, there may also be reasons why practitioners practice calligraphy more clearly. These are all objective factors. In fact, there are subjective factors, personal habits, personality characteristics and many other complex reasons.
Third, the most important part of practicing hard pen calligraphy-temporary writing. It can be said that the first two links can be omitted, but this one is omitted, so 99% people can't practice hard pen calligraphy well. This is not rhetoric. This step is the overall tolerance of one's own observation, pen skills and structural application. The step of temporary writing should be something that many practitioners are unwilling to face. However, this is also the most difficult step among the three methods. I guess there may be many beginners. Before this step, they may "die" on the copybook "copying". I suggest that when practicing, temporary writers must be regular and quantitative, work hard, think more, and don't change fonts often. In this case, I think "thinking more" is the most important thing, because in contemporary society, people don't lack time to write Chinese characters and practice them, but they just write without thinking, don't know the skills of practicing Chinese characters at all, and just repeat mechanical work like machines. And many of my other articles have my own words, which are explained separately. If you really don't want to think or be confused, you can have a look and discuss it together!
