I think I was also in various interest classes when I was a child, and I basically learned them. Even in the process of growing up, I am still trying some new things, such as street dance, taekwondo, machinery and so on. But this is because I am interested in these things, and I can stick to it. I have studied piano for more than ten years, and I never get tired of it. I am also practicing and learning the piano, slowly finding myself, recognizing my dreams, and gradually honing myself until. Maybe learning music is more than just a hobby. I understand that hobbies are things that a person will do in his spare time to entertain himself. But for me, practicing piano is definitely not something I want to do in my spare time, but something I have to do every day, something I must insist on and a part of my life.
Once, a student's parents asked me what the benefits of learning these musical instruments and skills were, and why I spent more than ten years, energy and money on them, and I didn't rely on them for dinner in the future. I didn't answer. Although I can list dozens of benefits of playing a musical instrument, such as cultivating sentiment, improving sensitivity to life, relieving depression and saving face in front of classmates and friends, I know that the real answer in my heart is not these. I never thought about what I would get from playing the piano in the future. I only care about how much I put in. Indeed, in this very professional field of music, it is really useless if you can't become famous and get married. The answer is so meaningless. But knowing that it is meaningless, you still choose to turn back. This is true love. When you are willing to pay and work hard for something that you don't expect any return, often the return you can get is the purest and most valuable, because it comes from your heart and from your soul. Nothing is more noble than self-worth, and nothing is more pleasant than self-satisfaction.
Finally, I want to say that the meaning of hobbies is not completely absent. When a person really loves something, he will develop self-discipline from it. Hobbies are really more than just a pastime. You should learn something from your hobbies to make yourself better. Such a hobby is a hobby. It's not that I'm interested in watching movies, but brushing movies when I'm bored is a hobby. Similarly, smoking, drinking and playing mahjong are not hobbies, but bad habits. Hobbies are life factors that accompany your growth.
